Imran & Avantika: Imran Khan & Avantika To Tie The Knot in January 2011

Imran Khan and his fiancee Avantika will tie the knot in Thailand in January next year, a year exactly after they got engaged, confirms a source. It adds, "The wedding details got finalised recently."

There were talks about his wedding a few months ago, but the actor had denied it.

He was busy shooting for his films and has made it clear that he will only marry when he is free from his work commitments, so that he could plan and enjoy the most important day in his life. Buzz is, he has now decided on the date and the venue of his film.

It is learnt that Imran Khan and Avantika will get married in Thailand at an exclusive palatial resort near Koh Samui. The exact date of marriage is still under consideration while the month is decided to be January. Close friends and family will fly out for the shaadi (marriage).

Imran has requested producer Karan Johar to adjust his dates in January for the film Short Term Shaadi, opposite Kareena Kapoor so that he can get married. Imran Khan and his to-be wife have been dating each other for almost six years.

They got 'ringed' on January 16 this year at a farmhouse owned by Avatika's family in Karjat.
