Lisa Rinna : Lisa Rinna Admits To Lip Injections

Lisa Rinna recently admitted to having surgery to reduce the size of her lips. According to M&C, the actress admitted last year that her famous pouty lips weren’t natural, and had, in fact, been the result of a silicon injection back in 1986.

The star stated that her feeling that her lips defined her as a famous face caused the reason for the recent surgery. “They [lips] are making news again,”Rinna acknowledged. “I had never thought you could do anything about it, you have silicone put in and that is that…when I found out you could reduce it I said, ‘Yes, lets do it.’”

Although seemingly happy with the results, the actress says the backlash from the operation was greater than she’d expected. “I think naivety is bliss and for 24 years I had this lip and really did not pay any attention, I think everyone guessed it but I just never said it was true and when I came out and said it, it just opened the floodgate.”

Lisa Deanna Rinna (born July 11, 1963) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Billie Reed on Days of our Lives, Taylor McBride on Melrose Place, and most recently as the host of SoapNet's Soap Talk.

Rinna married actor Harry Hamlin in 1997. They have two daughters, Delilah Belle (born 1998) and Amelia Gray (born 2001).

They have performed together in a number of television and film productions, including portraying a married couple on the first season of the television series Veronica Mars.

She has acknowledged having plastic surgery and using botox and juvéderm; although she remains fond of botox, she has said that using juvéderm was a mistake.
